The Index tab includes items that are already hyperlinked to internal workpapers (tabs). The accountant should input the information for the client, if necessary. For example, Prepayments.
Optional workpaper items
Other workpaper items referenced without hyperlinks are optional. As the accountant, you can choose to include these additional items on the Index with internal or external links to the source documents or new worksheets.
For example, you could use "CA1" at the top of a 30 June Bank Statement and embed this document within these workpapers if preferred.
Using Xero Workpapers
If a ChangeGPS Evo member uses Xero Workpapers to index and store their source documents, they won’t need to use this indexing system. They will only use the ChangeGPS workpapers that they need.
