Recent updates from Microsoft automatically disable files downloaded from any internet source, such as Core Resources, particularly Tax Return Workpapers that contain macros.

How to unblock these files

For individual files, such as a Workpaper file downloaded from Core Resources, the simplest way to unblock macros is to unlock the file:

  1. In your File Explorer, right-click on the file name.

  2. Choose Properties from the context menu.

  3. On the General tab, select the Unblock checkbox.
