What documents do Dividend Statements generate?

Explains what documents are generated for dividend statements, including shareholder statements and director declarations

ChangeGPS Dividend Statement generates two main document types. The Dividend Statement is the primary document sent to shareholders, confirming the dividend amount per share, the total dividend paid to that shareholder, the franking percentage, and the attached franking credits. Shareholders use this document when lodging their tax return to claim the franking credit offset. The Director Declaration (also called a board resolution) is the internal company document authorising the payment of the dividend. It must be signed by the company's directors and retained by the company as a corporate record. Both documents are generated together and can be exported as a single PDF, as separate files, or merged with additional documents using the Collate widget before delivery.
