"No Identity Verification Required" is a message you may see on Step 5 (KYC) when working through an engagement in EngageAML. It means no individuals in this client group need identity verification for this engagement, so you can proceed straight to the next step. This is expected behaviour, not an error.
Why this message appears
This message appears when no Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) designated service has been selected for the client on Step 2 (Services). Without a designated service driving the requirement, EngageAML has no individuals to identify for identity verification, so Step 5 (KYC) shows this message and lets you continue.
If you expected identity verification to be required
If you expected this client group to require identity verification, check the following:
Go back to Step 2 (Services) and confirm a designated service has been selected for the client.
If the service you need isn't classified correctly, go to Company Settings > App Settings > Engage Service Items > Service Item Editor, open the service, and check whether the AUSTRAC Designated Service toggle under Compliance Classification is switched on.
If a designated service is selected and correctly classified but Step 5 (KYC) still shows this message, contact our support team so this can be reviewed.
