This article answers common questions about moving from changetech.cloud to ChangeGPS Evo, including which reports move across automatically, what your firm needs to do manually, and the key dates in the migration.

ChangeGPS Evo is live now. Your firm's primary contact has been provided with the Onboarding Toolkit to set up your users, and your firm can complete the transition at its own pace, right up until changetech.cloud closes on 31 October 2026.

Your firm's TaxPlan, Progress, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Trust Distribution data will be automatically migrated from changetech.cloud to ChangeGPS Evo during the week of 7–11 September 2026, with no action needed from your firm. All other report types — including CGT, Structure Advice, Blueprint, Engage, Actions, Service Plan, Potential and Letters Merge — are not migrated. If your firm wants to keep any of these, download and save them from changetech.cloud before it closes on 31 October 2026.

Before 31 October 2026, make sure your firm is fully set up in ChangeGPS Evo and that you've downloaded and saved any reports that don't migrate automatically, since changetech.cloud closes permanently on this date and will no longer be accessible. Anything not downloaded beforehand will not be recoverable once changetech.cloud closes.

To help your firm transition smoothly, our development team's efforts between now and 31 October 2026 are focused on ChangeGPS Evo. changetech.cloud will continue to run and remain available for your day-to-day work throughout the transition period, but it will not receive further bug fixes before it closes.

Your firm's primary contact can use the Onboarding Toolkit to set up your firm's account at your own pace. Team members gain access to ChangeGPS Evo once your primary contact has completed setup.

All ChangeGPS apps are visible to every user in your organisation, but you will only have access to the apps your firm is subscribed to. To check which apps your firm is subscribed to, open the Seat Management app, which shows your firm's active subscriptions and how seats are assigned across your team.

Company Settings and Seat Management are only available to Evo members with a ChangeGPS v2 role of Administrator. If you need to view or update your firm's subscription or settings and are not an Administrator, speak with your firm's ChangeGPS Administrator.
