Yes. ChangeGPS apps can be used without a CIM connection — you can always enter client details manually in each app's first step. However, connecting CIM significantly reduces data entry effort. Without CIM, every time you start a new Tax Plan, Division 7A analysis, or Letter, you need to type the client name, address, ABN, entity type, and other details by hand. With CIM connected, all of that information is available in a single search and imported with one click. For practices with large client bases, connecting CIM is strongly recommended before your team starts using ChangeGPS in production.
