If a merge field appears as {{FieldName}} rather than real data in your exported letter, it means the underlying data was not available when the letter was generated. To fix this, return to the letter in the draft list and re-open it. In Step 3, check the Missing Fields panel — it lists all merge fields that could not be resolved. For each missing field, either navigate to Step 1 to enter the missing client data, or manually type the value directly into the editor in place of the placeholder. If the data should be coming from the client's CIM record but is not appearing, go to the CIM client record and confirm the field has been populated there. Once all missing fields are resolved, regenerate the preview in Step 4 to confirm no placeholders remain before exporting.
