To work with your client data in ChangeGPS on Evo, you first need to connect your Access desktop or cloud product to the Access Data Engine (ADE). Once connected, your client data flows automatically into ChangeGPS, so your clients are available to search and select across ChangeGPS. This article explains the connection process at a high level and links to the detailed setup steps for each product.
Connecting your data to ChangeGPS happens in three stages, covered in the sections below: connect to ADE integration, connect ADE integration to ChangeGPS, and client data available.
Step 1: Connect to ADE Integration
In this stage, your Access product connects to the Access Data Engine (ADE). How you connect depends on your product, and each product has its own setup guide that you can follow yourself.
If you require assistance setting up the connection to ADE, email [email protected].
To connect to ADE, follow the setup guide for your product:
Product | Setup guide |
Download and install the APS Evo Data Loader
Download and install the HandiSoft Evo Data Loader
Download and install the HandiSoft Evo Data Loader
Download and install the Elite Evo Data Loader
Connect your Access Tax data to Access Evo.
Please note: The token needs to be refreshed in Access Tax at 30 day intervals.
HandiSoft (SQL - Online) | Our team connects your data when your product is provisioned, so there is nothing for you to set up |
HandiSoft (ODB - Hosted) | Please email [email protected] to discuss your migration to HandiSoft SQL |
Step 2: Connect ADE Integration to ChangeGPS
In this stage, the Access Data Engine (ADE) syncs your client data and our team enables the connection to ChangeGPS.
Once you have completed the setup guide for your product and your data has synced, submit the connection request form so we can enable your client data in ChangeGPS. After you submit the form, your client data will be available in ChangeGPS on Evo within 24 to 48 hours.
Until you let us know, your data sits in the Access Data Engine (ADE) but does not appear in ChangeGPS, so this step is important. If your data is connected for you when your product is provisioned, this is handled by our team and there is nothing more for you to do.
Step 3: Client Data Available
Once the connection is enabled, your client data becomes available in ChangeGPS on Evo. You can confirm this by:
Logging in to Access Evo.
Selecting a ChangeGPS app with a Client Import Manager.
Searching for a client by name in the Client Import Manager to confirm your client list appears.
If your clients do not appear after you have completed setup and let us know, contact our support team so we can check the connection.
